Overview

WEX's CDH (Consumer Driven Health) platform serves thousands of BoA employees accessing HSA accounts. The core problem was the outdated benefits experience hurts employee satisfaction and platform adoption.

Current Pain Points

● Employees "dig" for transfer request forms (low discoverability)

● Manual submission with no status tracking

Goals

  • Support decision-making with human-centered design

  • Increase lead generation through personalized experiences

  • Deliver a modular, reusable quiz system aligned with BSC branding

Process

1. Discovery

  • Ran stakeholder workshops to align on business needs

  • Conducted lightweight competitive analysis

  • Mapped quiz logic, branching flows, and personalization points

2. Design

  • Created UX flows and mobile-first wireframes

  • Developed high-fidelity designs using the BSC design system

  • Designed reusable UI components

  • Ensured accessibility compliance and responsive behavior (desktop & mobile)

  • Supported both full-screen takeover and in-page embedded formats


Outcome

We delivered a Urology-specific quiz MVP that:

  • Engaged users through tailored questions and branching logic

  • Collected actionable zero-party data

  • Integrated with existing platforms for streamlined marketing follow-up
